“Bok is a colourful shawl worn for warmth and protection on the back. Traditionally it used to have a bright design on the outside and yak or goat skin on the inside to keep the wearer warm. This has now been changed by fashion to a simple ornament of brightly coloured material although in winter many women still wear goat skin to keep warm.”
