There is no God, no universe, no human race, no earthly life, no heaven, no hell. It is all a dream, a grotesque and foolish dream. Nothing exists but you. And you are but a thought –a vagrant thought, a useless thought, a homeless thought, wandering forlorn among the empty eternities.
– Mark Twain

PS: At this moment, your post makes me think of several things at once. But most of all, it makes me smile. This urge to leave a comment has made me write something, even though the myriad range of thoughts would need a lot more words, which I can’t string together. So, right now, I smile.
PPS: Shillong is a beautiful place. I lived in Arunachal’s West Kameng district for three years (Tenga Valley) when I was but a little kid.
